A parent looking for a school for a child with a learning difference opens Florida's private school directory and, in the state's five largest counties alone, faces more than 1,600 listings with no way to filter by disability. From there it's phone calls, one school at a time.
I spent years doing that for my son, Teagan — which is why I built TeaganAI. It started with the Unique Abilities School Fairs, free events connecting families with special education schools and resources. More than 600 families have come through them across five Florida counties since 2024. My goal with both is the same: no parent should have to figure this out alone.
